 DIY: Pumpkin Wreath

It may still be in the mid-90s here in Florida but I finished my first Fall project!  I made this adorable felt Pumpkin Wreath!

My husband always laughs at me and my love for felt but I can’t help it.  It’s so versatile, colorful and cheap.  Here’s what you need to make your own: a thin piece of styrofoam, a marker, a utility knife, pins and felt.  Start by marking off your pumpkin pattern on the styrofoam.  Then use your utility knife to cut around your design.  Leave it in the plastic wrap to avoid any extra mess!

Excuse the darkness in the following photos.  I was doing this at night and the flash was too bright.  Cut out a bunch of circles around 2 inches wide, fold in half, then fold in half again, take a pin and pin it to your styrofoam.  Oh.so.easy.

Here it is in progress.  I actually ran out of felt.  Does that happen to you too mid-project?  So, I cut apart one of my garlands and used the orange circles from that.

All finished!  Grab some ribbon, attach and hang up.

I’m super happy with how it turned out.  It’s fun, colorful and ready to welcome in Fall!

Thanks for reading!  Have a great day!
